BELLEVILLE, Ont. - Mika Partanen had two assists as the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors beat the Belleville Bulls by a 3-2 score Saturday night in Ontario Hockey League action.

Jamie Wise, Riley Brace and Alex Cord scored for the Majors (20-18-6). Brandon Maxwell made 34 saves.

Joseph Cramarossa and Michael Curtis replied for Belleville (22-20-1), while Charlie Graham made 30 saves in the loss.

The Majors opened the scoring in the first period when Wise took a pass in behind the Belleville defence and sent a backhand over Graham.

Belleville tied the game when Cramarossa, a former Major, picked up a rebound and scored his ninth past Maxwell.

Brace restored Mississauga's lead before the first period ended when Graham misplayed a puck off the end boards that found its way in front of an empty net.

The two clubs swapped second-period goals, starting with Curtis tying the game on his 10th of the year. Mississauga grabbed their third lead of the game on a late power-play goal from Cord and never looked back.
