TORONTO (CP) - The Dallas Stars and forward Antti Miettinen went ahead with their salary arbitration case Thursday.
Miettinen, 27, made the league-minimum US$450,000 last season while producing 25 points (11-14) and a minus-5 rating in 74 games.
It was only the second hearing to go through after Monday's case between Brooks Laich and the Washington Capitals. Already 17 of the 29 players that were originally slated for arbitration settled ahead of time.
Derek Roy and the Buffalo Sabres are slated for a hearing Friday. The hearings run through Aug. 3.
