Turns out a baloney sandwich goes a long way after an 8-3 loss.
"I was angry after the game. I got home around midnight and had a baloney sandwich and that was that. Move on. Same for our players," said Vegas Golden Knights head coach Gerard Gallant.
For the record - Gallant was an affirmative on mustard.
"Yes," he said, before adding, "Just regular yellow mustard. I'm not a fancy mustard guy."
The losing end of an 8-3 score such as Wednesday's loss to the New Jersey Devils is never fun.
Keeping the score and result of one game in perspective, however, is critical with the framework of an 82-game regular season.

Among the most over-used clichés in hockey - "don't get too high with the highs and too low with the lows," and "it's a marathon not a sprint," get spat out by players and coaches as often as they do for good reason. A season isn't won or lost in one game. Coaches and players need to come back to work the next day regardless of the previous result and staying level with a positive attitude is critical.
The Golden Knights own a 45-20-5 record on the season and sit first in the Pacific Division with a 10-point lead. Vegas has 12 games left on the regular season schedule and had gone 4-1 on a five-game road trip prior to Wednesday's debacle. It's really not something to dwell on.
Vegas got some great news on Thursday at practice as both forward James Neal and goalie Malcolm Subban returned to regular practice duty.
"I'm not 100 percent sure but I expect them both to be in the lineup (Friday) night," said Gallant.
Neal has 24 goals and 40 points on the season while Subban owns an 11-3-1 mark.
Vegas hosts the Minnesota Wild on Friday. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at T-Mobile Arena.
