Michael Swift scores overtime winner as Niagara edges Peterborough @NHLdotcom

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Michael Swift scored the overtime winner as the Niagara IceDogs edged the Peterborough Petes 3-2 in OHL action Sunday afternoon.

Dylan MacEachern and Drew Schiestel also counted for Niagara (42-25-0-1).

John Armstrong and Liam Heelis replied for Peterborough (28-36-1-3).

The IceDogs will play Mississauga in the first round of the playoffs, while the Petes will take on Belleville.

Sebastian Dahm turned away 30 shots for Niagara, while Jason Missiaen and Trevor Cann combined to make 26 shots for Peterborough.
