Michael Swift scores hat trick as Niagara beats Mississauga 5-2 @NHLdotcom

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Captain Michael Swift scored three goals as the Niagara IceDogs defeated the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors 5-2 in an Ontario Hockey League game Sunday afternoon.

Alex Pietrangelo and Jordan Foreman also scored for Niagara, which improved to 31-21-0-1.

Kaspars Daugavins netted both Mississauga (25-27-1-1) goals.

Niagara out shot Mississauga 32-22.

The game was tied 1-1 after one period and 2-2 after two.
