Michael St. Croix scores as Edmonton Oil Kings beat Saskatoon Blades 3-1 @NHLdotcom

EDMONTON - Michael St. Croix's second-period goal was the difference as the Edmonton Oil Kings beat the Saskatoon Blades 3-1 in Western Hockey League play Sunday.

T.J. Foster and Curtis Lazar ? with a power-play goal in the final minute of regulation ? also scored for Edmonton (44-15-7).

Jake Trask's goal late in the third was all the offence Saskatoon (36-27-3) could manage.

Oil Kings goaltender Laurent Brossoit stopped 16 shots, while at the other end Adam Todd made 31 saves.
