Metsola's 28-save performance lifts Lethbridge to 3-2 win over Red Deer @NHL

LETHBRIDGE, Alta. - Juha Metsola made 28 saves to help the Lethbridge Hurricanes preserve a 3-2 win over the Red Deer Rebels in WHL action Sunday night.

Lethbridge (9-7-1-0)scored three times in the second period to take a 3-0 lead, with goals coming from Jacob Dietrich, Adam Chorneyko, with an assist, and Travis Bobbee. Joel Kot replied for the Rebels late in the second period, while Clayton Bauer scored on the power play with 10 seconds left in regulation to round out the scoring.

Morgan Clark stopped 16 of 19 shots he faced for Red Deer (4-11-3-0), who outshot the Hurricanes 30-19.
