Menard with a goal and an assist to lift the Storm over the Sting 3-1 @NHLdotcom

GUELPH, Ont. - Francis Menard scored once and set up one more as the Guelph Storm defeated the visiting Sarnia Sting 3-1 on Sunday afternoon in Ontario Hockey League action.

Hunter Garlent and Zack Mitchell also scored for the Storm (19-19-5) while Jason Dickinson chipped in with two assists.

Connor Murphy scored the lone goal for the Sting (23-18-5), who dropped their second game in a row.

Garret Sparks made 35 saves for the win and the game's first star as JP Anderson turned aside 23 shots in defeat.

Guelph went 1 for 4 on the power play while Sarnia scored once on seven opportunities with the man advantage.
