Medicine Hat Tigers upset Calgary Hitmen in 5-2 win in front of sellout crowd

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - The Medicine Hat Tigers upset the powerful Calgary Hitmen 5-2 in WHL action Saturday night before a sellout crowd of 4,006 fans at The Arena.

With the victory, the Tigers were unable to move up in the tight WHL Eastern Conference standings. They remain fifth overall with a 41-21-5-2 record.

Calgary continues to hold the top spot in the conference with a 45-19-1-4 record.

Brennan Bosch and Tyler Ennis each scored a pair for the Tigers, while Mark Isherwood also added a goal.

Brendan Rowinski and Brock Nixon replied for the Hitmen.

Ryan Holfeld made 26 saves for Medicine Hat. Dan Spence turned away 17 of 21 shots in goal for Calgary.
