LONDON, Ont. - Philip McRae scored twice to help the London Knights hand the Brampton Battalion their second loss in a row, a 3-2 defeat on Friday night in the Ontario Hockey League.
Christian Thomas also scored for the Knights (21-6-0-1), who have won two straight and nine of their last 10. Matt Clark and Ken Peroff replied for Brampton (20-8-1-0), which is struggling to find the form that led to a 16-game winning streak earlier in the season. In their past five games, the Battalion are 2-2-1-0.
Trevor Cann made 29 saves for his ninth win as London's starting goaltender. Brampton netminder Patrick Killeen stopped 26 shots.
