McRae and Salters lead Knights comeback in 6-3 win over Frontenacs @NHLdotcom

LONDON, Ont. - Philip McRae had two goals and an assist while Leigh Salters scored and added three assists as the London Knights over the Kingston Frontenacs 6-3 Sunday afternoon in Ontario Hockey League action.

Down 3-2 heading into the third period, the Knights rallied with four unanswered goals to stun Kingston. Salters kicked off the comeback at 9:54 on the power play with his fourth of the year before Jared Knight put London ahead for good.

McRae made it 5-4 on the power play at 14:55 and Justin Taylor rounded out the scoring with his fifth of the year at 18:31.

Pieter Schinkelshoek also scored for London (8-3-0) in the first period and McRae netted his first at 7:08 of the second.

Nathan Moon scored twice for Kingston (7-7-0) and Michael Fine added a single.

Frontenacs goalie Tyler Beskorowany was peppered in net, stopping 44 of the 50 shots sent his way.

Michael Houser made 18 saves for the London win.
