McNaughton scores pair in Guelph's 3-2 win over Generals

OSHAWA, Ont. - Cody McNaughton scored twice to lift the Guelph Storm to a 3-2 victory over the Oshawa Generals in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday night.

Tyler Carroll scored the other goal for Guelph (11-9-1) nearly mid-way through the second and it stood as the winner.

Conor Stokes and rookie Boone Jenner scored the goals for Oshawa (8-12-2).

Cody St. Jacques was given the start in goal for Guelph and made 42 saves, while at the other end Michael Zador stopped 22 for the Generals.

McNaughton's first goal of the night came on the power play with just 23 seconds remaining in the first, while his other came 2:34 into the second period.
