McNaughton and Mitchell three points each as Storm beat Attack 6-2

GUELPH, Ont. - Cody McNaughton and Zack Mitchell each had a goal and two assists as the Guelph Storm defeated the visiting Owen Sound Attack 6-2 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Tyler Bertuzzi and Matt Finn scored a goal and an assist each for the Storm (24-27-5) while Francis Menard and Daniel Poliziani chipped in with a goal apiece.

Cameron Brace and Daniel Zweep scored for the Attack (29-23-7).

Garret Sparks made 33 saves for the win while Jordan Binnington allowed three goals on 14 shots through 23 minutes of action.

Scott Stajcer stopped 18 of 21 shots in relief.

Guelph went 3 for 7 on the power play as Owen Sound failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.
