McKinlay scores winner as Bruins end season with a 3-2 win over Everett @NHLdotcom

EVERETT, Wash. - Dylen McKinlay snapped a tie midway through the third period and the Chilliwack Bruins defeated the Everett Silvertips 3-2 Saturday night in WHL action.

David Robinson and Kevin Sundher also scored and Mark Friesen made 31 saves in goal for the Bruins (18-46-2-5), who managed to avoid finishing with the worst record in the league.

Kellan Tochkin and Taylor Ellington scored for Everett (27-35-7-2). Kent Simpson stopped five of the seven shots he faced before being removed. Thomas Heemskerk took the loss after stopping 19 of 20.
