Oilers' McDavid scores early vs. Eichel, Sabres

Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid scored 22 seconds into the game against the Buffalo Sabres at First Niagara Center on Tuesday.
It's the first game featuring McDavid, the No. 1 pick of the 2015 NHL Draft, against Sabres forward Jack Eichel, who was selected second.

McDavid scored when he took a pass from Jordan Eberle and backhanded a shot past Sabres goalie Robin Lehner. It was his 11th goal of the season
McDavid has six points in eight games, including Tuesday.
