Mayer's hat trick leads Majors as they double Sault Ste. Marie 6-3

SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. - Jordan Mayer scored his first hat trick of the season as the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors doubled up on the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 6-3 on Saturday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

Casey Cizikas had a goal and an assist, while Corey Bureau and Riley Brace also scored for the Majors (17-4-1), who are 6-0-1 in their last seven games.

Michael Quesnele, Jake Carrick and Nick Cousins replied for Sault Ste. Marie (10-10-2).

JP Anderson made 18 saves for Mississauga, while Greyhounds netminder Robin Lehner allowed four goals on 21 shots before being replaced by Bryce O'Hagan, who stopped 14 of 15.
