Mayer with 3 points to lead the Majors over the Storm 6-4 @NHLdotcom

GUELPH, Ont. - Jordan Mayer scored twice and set up one more as the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors defeated the Guelph Storm 6-4 on Wednesday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Jamie Wise also had two goals for the Majors (17-14-4) while Mika Partanen scored a goal and an assist and Brett Foy added a single goal.

Jason Dickinson scored twice for the Storm (14-15-5) as Zack Leslie and Scott Kosmachuk had a goal apiece.

JP Anderson made 26 saves for the win while Brandon Foote turned aside 36 of 41 shots in defeat.

Mississauga failed to score on five power-play opportunities as Guelph went 2-for-5.
