Maxwell makes 25 saves as the Majors shutout the Generals 3-0 @NHLdotcom

Brandon Maxwell stopped all 25 shots he faced as the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors shutout the host Oshawa Generals 3-0 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Mika Partanen had a goal and an assist for the Majors (33-27-7), who are winners of their last five games, while Spenser Cobbold and Dylan DeMelo scored a goal apiece.

This was the third time this season that the Generals (31-29-7) have been blanked on the scoreboard.

Kevin Bailie stopped 17 shots in a losing effort.

Mississauga scored all three of their goals on the power play and finished the contest 3 for 5 as Oshawa failed to score on three chances of their own with the man advantage.
