PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Mavric Parks made 51 saves as the Kingston Frontenacs stole a 5-2 win from the Peterborough Petes in OHL action Saturday night.
Josh Brittain and Nathan Moon had two goals each for Kingston (20-38-0-2) who avoided playoff elimination with the victory. Matt Kang had a goal and two assists.
Kingston scored twice in the final five minutes to pull out a game in which they were thoroughly outplayed.
Zach Harnden scored both goals for the Petes (26-33-0-3) who lead Kingston by 13 points for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot.
Jason Missiaen allowed five goals on 33 shots to take the loss.
