Matthews, Reynolds rib each other for children's hospital drive

To give an extra push to his holiday push for SickKids Foundation, actor Ryan Reynolds knew just who to call.

While thinking of ideas for his annual fundraising effort for The Hospital for Sick Children, Reynolds brought in Toronto Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews and, well, figuratively checked him into the boards.

And in the true giving spirit of the season, and like the sharp shooter he is, Matthews responded with snipe of his own.

The real winners, of course, will be all the kids that benefit from a couple of superstars and a puppy teaming up to bring awareness to a great cause.
