Matt Esposito earns shutout as Bruins defeat Winter Hawks 2-0 @NHLdotcom

CHILLIWACK, B.C. - Matt Esposito made 16 saves as the Chilliwack Bruins clamped down on Portland's offence in a 2-0 Western Hockey League win over the Winter Hawks on Saturday.

Jadon Potter and Cody Smuk scored for the Bruins. Smuk's goal came on a two-man power-play advantage.

Jordan White stopped 30 of 32 shots in his first game as a Winter Hawk.

Portland (0-2-0) finished the night 0-for-5 on the power play while Chilliwack (2-0-0) went 1-for-7.
