Dumba fined for actions in Wild game against Golden Knights
Defenseman assessed $5,000 for slashing Reaves

NEW YORK - Minnesota Wild defenseman Matt Dumba has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for slashing Vegas Golden Knights forward Ryan Reaves during NHL Game No. 871 in Minnesota on Tuesday, Feb. 11, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 8:31 of the first period. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
