Martschini scores twice, including shootout winner, as the Petes beat the Majors @NHLdotcom

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Lino Martschini scored once in regulation, and then the shootout winner, as the Peterborough Petes defeated the visiting Mississauga St. Michael's Majors 4-3 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Cole Murduff and Joey West also scored for the Petes (19-15-6).

Jamie Wise, Jordan Mayer and Scott Teskey responded for the Majors (18-15-6).

Andrew D'Agostini made 33 saves, picking up first star of the game and the victory, while Spencer Martin turned aside 30 shots in defeat.

Peterborough went 1 for 7 on the power play as Mississauga scored twice on six chances with the man advantage.
