Martschini scores in overtime to lift the Petes over the Otters 2-1 @NHLdotcom

ERIE, Pa. - Lino Martschini scored 3:08 into overtime to lift the Peterborough Petes over the host Erie Otters 2-1 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Nick Ritchie also scored for the Petes (21-18-6), who picked up their first win in three contests.

Dane Fox scored the lone goal for the Otters (5-36-3), who have now dropped 10 straight games.

Mike Morrison made 28 saves for the win while Ramis Sadikov earned first star of the game by stopping 39 shots in defeat.

Peterborough went 0 for 3 on the power play was Erie failed to score on either of their opportunities with the man advantage.
