BELLEVILLE, Ont. - Ryan Martindale's goal at 13:25 of the second period broke a 2-2 tie and lifted the Ottawa 67's to a 5-2 win over the Belleville Bulls in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday night.
Thomas Kiriakou and Julien Demers each had a goal and an assist to pace the 67's (2-2-0-0), who salvaged a split in their home-and-home series with the Eastern Conference-champion Bulls (2-1-0-0). Corey Cowick and Riley Sonnenberg added singles for Ottawa, while Tyler Toffoli and Michael Latta each chipped in with two assists.
Shawn Lalonde and Bryan Cameron replied for Belleville, which was outshot 51-28 in the loss.
Chris Perugini earned the win for the 67's, while Mike Murphy absorbed the loss for the Bulls.
