Martin, DiBenedetto lead the way as Sarnia gets past Sault Ste. Marie 3-1 @NHL

SARNIA, Ont. - Matt Martin and Justin DiBenedetto each had a goal and an assist as the Sarnia Sting skated to a 3-1 win over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in OHL action Thursday night.

Ben O'Quinn scored Sarnia's other goal while Jake Carrick scored for the Greyhounds (14-18-1-1).

The game's outcome was in doubt, literally until the last second as the Sting (16-15-2-2) held onto a tenuous 2-1 lead until DiBenedetto scored into the empty net at 19:59 of the third period to ice it.

Greyhounds goalie Bryce O'Hagan, who made 39 saves on the night was the game's second star while Sting's Martin was the first star and O'Quinn was named third star.
