Mark Santorelli scores one and assists on three others Bruins win 6-4 over Cougars

CHILLIWACK, B.C. - Mark Santorelli had a goal and three assists as the Chilliwack Bruins scored five times in the first period on their way to a 6-4 win over the Prince George Cougars in WHL action Saturday night.

Oscar Moller scored once and assisted on two others for Chilliwack (3-1-0). Ken Petkau, Nick Holden, Colby Kulhanek and Ryan Howse had the other goals for the Bruins, who led 5-1 after the first period.

Dana Tyrell led the Cougars with two goals and an assist. Ty Wishart and Dale Hunt also scored for Prince George (0-3-0).

A melee ensued 17:42 into the match which resulted in four players - including both starting goalies - receiving game misconducts. For the game, the Bruins were penalized 82 minutes and the Cougars 74.

Real Cyr allowed five goals on 11 shots in net for Prince George, with Tommy Tartaglione blocking all 12 fired his way in the remainder of the game.

Matt Esposito made only three saves to earn his third win of the season. Mark Friesen stopped 16 shots in relief for Chilliwack.
