Mark Santorelli of Chilliwack Bruins named CHL player of the week @NHLdotcom

TORONTO - Mark Santorelli of the Chilliwack Bruins was named Canadian Hockey League player of the week Tuesday.

He had nine points (seven goals, two assists) in three games for the Western Hockey League team last week. The 19-year-old from Burnaby, B.C., was a fourth-round pick of the Nashville Predators in this year's NHL entry draft.

Brad Marchand of the Val-d'Or Foreurs was the QMJHL nominee after recording 10 points (3-7) in three games. Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds goaltender Kyle Gajewski was the OHL nominee after posting a 3-0-0-0 record with a 1.30 goals-against average and .977 save percentage.

Dustin Tokarski of the WHL's Spokane Chiefs was named CHL goaltender of the week after posting a 2-0-0-0 record with a 0.48 GAA and .977 save percentage.
