Marco Insam scores three goals as IceDogs upset Knights 5-2 @NHLdotcom

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Marco Insam scored three goals as the Niagara IceDogs upset the London Knights 5-2 in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday night.

Andrew Agozzino and Matt Sisca added the other goals for the IceDogs, who improved their record to 19-19-4-4. Justin Taylor and Garrett Hunter replied for the Knights, 34-9-0-2.

The Knights outshot the IceDogs 35-24, including 24-12 in the final two periods.

Smith finished with 33 saves, while Knights goalie Trevor Cann stopped 19 shots.

Knights superstar John Tavares was held off the scoresheet and was a minus-4 on the night.

The teams meet again in London Friday.
