Marchessault replaces Callahan for Lightning

TAMPA -- Tampa Bay Lightning forward Jonathan Marchessault is replacing Ryan Callahan in the lineup for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Second Round series against the Montreal Canadiens (CBC, TV-A, NBCSN).

Callahan is day-to-day after having an emergency appendectomy Monday. He was released from the hospital Tuesday.

Marchessault scored 67 points (24 goals, 43 assists) with the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League this season. He played two games with the Lightning, scoring his first NHL goal against the Boston Bruins in the regular-season finale on April 11.
