Peter Holland, Matt Hunwick each scored twice for the Toronto Maple Leafs in an 8-1 preseason win against the Buffalo Sabres on Friday.
William Nylander, Kasperi Kapanen, Rich Clune and Jake Gardiner also scored for Toronto, which led 4-1 in the first period. Defenseman Frank Corrado had three assists and was plus-5. Derek Grant scored in the first period for the Sabres to tie the game 1-1. Defenseman Dmitry Kulikov left his Sabres debut because of an apparent back injury, and goalie Robin Lehner was scratched with a forearm contusion, The Buffalo News reported.
