Maple Leafs return James Reimer and Dale Mitchell to their junior teams @NHLdotcom

TORONTO (CP) - Goaltender James Reimer has been returned to the WHL's Red Deer Rebels and right-winger Dale Mitchell has been sent back to the OHL's Oshawa Generals, the Toronto Maple Leafs announced Monday.

Reimer was selected 99th overall in the 2006 entry draft and last season was 26-23-7 with a 2.66 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage in 60 WHL games.

Mitchell was the 74th player draft last June after scoring 43 goals and amassing 80 points with the Generals.

The Leafs held their annual team golf tournament Monday and play their opening exhibition game in Edmonton on Tuesday night.
