Maple Leafs hire coaches Corey Hirsch, Graeme Townshend; two scouts @NHLdotcom

TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs continue to fill out their coaching staff.

The NHL team announced Tuesday that it hired Corey Hirsch as its goaltending coach and Graeme Townshend as skating coach. Dennis Bonvie and Tom Watt have also been added as pro scouts.

The 36-year-old Hirsch most recently worked as a goaltending consultant for Hockey Canada and won gold medals with the world junior team in 2007 and 2008. He's a former NHL goalie that appeared in 108 career games with the New York Rangers, Vancouver, Washington and Dallas.

Townshend spent the past four seasons with the San Jose Sharks. He'll be reunited with new Maple Leafs coach Ron Wilson.
