VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) - Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere is out indefinitely after re-aggravating a groin injury during Thursday night's game in Calgary.
Giguere was listed as day-to-day Friday, but the 33-year-old indicated he may be sidelined longer. He already missed two weeks and six games in November, and another two games last week with the same injury.
Giguere, a 13-year veteran, is 8-7-2 with a .890 save percentage and 2.80 goals-against average this season.
Jonas Gustavsson will be the starter while Giguere is out. The 26-year-old Swede is 4-8-2 with a .901 save percentage and 2.91 goals-against average in his second NHL season.
The Maple Leafs recalled goalie James Reimer from Toronto of the AHL for Saturday's game in Vancouver.
