Manitoba goalie Cory Schneider stops 44 as Moose defeat Bulldogs 3-2 @NHLdotcom

WINNIPEG - Cory Schneider stopped 44 shots as the league-leading Manitoba Moose defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs 3-2 in AHL action Sunday.

Scheider was again the difference two days after making 35 saves in the Moose's 2-1 overtime win against Hamilton.

Manitoba's Jason Jaffray and Jason Krog each had a goal and an assist and defenceman Travis Ramsay scored his second of the season.

Brock Trotter and Ben Maxwell scored Hamilton's goals.

Marc Denis stopped 22 shots for Hamilton, which fell to 44-27-4-0.

The Moose (49-20-0-6) set a new franchise record for most wins in a single season with 49 and Schneider's 28th win breaks the franchise record for most wins by a Moose netminder in a single season.
