Malcolm Subban has fractured larynx

Providence Bruins goalie Malcolm Subban is out indefinitely with a fractured larynx after taking a puck to the throat during pregame warm-ups in Portland, Maine on Saturday.
The Boston Bruins released a statement Sunday updating Subban's condition:

"Malcolm Subban was struck in the throat with a puck Saturday night during pregame warmups. He was transported to Maine Medical Center and was diagnosed with a fractured larynx. He stayed overnight at Maine Medical Center and was transported to Mass General Hospital on Sunday for further evaluation. He is in stable condition and will be sidelined indefinitely. The team will provide additional details when they become available."
The 22-year-old, in his third season with Providence, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Bruins, was selected with the 24th pick in the 2012 NHL Draft.
Subban tweeted from the hospital Sunday, thanking fans for their support.

Subban is 14-8-5 with a .911 save percentage and 2.46 goals-against average this season.
