Main's two points lifts Kelowna Rockets over Tri-City 3-2; series tied 1-1 @NHLdotcom

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Spencer Main had a goal and an assist to lead the Kelowna Rockets to a 3-2 win over the Tri-City Americans to even their Western Hockey League semifinals series at one game apiece on Saturday night.

Brandon McMillan's empty-net goal gave the Rockets a 3-1 lead, which turned out to be the winner. Lucas Bloodoff also tallied. Mark Guggenberger finished with 35 saves for the win.

Tri-City's Brendan Shinnimin scored with 3.3 seconds left in the game. Sergei Drozd added a marker for the Americans, who got 25 saves from Drew Owsley.

Kelowna will host Games 3 and 4 on Tuesday and Wednesday.
