Maidens scores two goals to lead the Attack over the Spitfires 5-1 @NHLdotcom

OWEN SOUND, Ont. - Jarrod Maidens scored two goals and Gemel Smith chipped in three assists to lead the Owen Sound Attack over the Windsor Spitfires 5-1 Sunday afternoon in Ontario Hockey League action.

Cameron Brace added a goal and an assist while Joseph Blandisi and Arturs Gavrus rounded out the Attack (8-8-2) scoring.

Adrian Robertson scored the lone goal for the Spitfires (8-8-2).

Scott Stajcer made 39 saves for the victory while Jack Campbell turned aside 34 shots in defeat.

The Attack had a good game on special teams, going 2-for-6 on the power play and 4-for-4 on the penalty kill.

Windsor and Owen Sound are the most penalized teams in the OHL, with 397 and 385 penalty minutes.
