MacLeod's shootout winner leads Brampton 3-2 win over Frontenacs

KINGSTON, Ont. - Matt MacLeod scored the only shootout goal to complete a 3-2 rally for the Brampton Battalion over the Kingston Frontenacs in Ontario Hockey League action Friday night.

Sean Jones and Philip Lane both scored for Brampton (7-8-2) in the second period to tie the game 2-2. Patrick Killeen stopped 35 shots for the Battalion.

Nathan Moon and Ethan Werek had goals for Kingston (8-10-2), while Tyler Beskorowany made 27 saves.

Kingston is winless in its past four, including two shootout losses. The Frontenacs have not scored in 10 attempts in the shootout in those losses.
