MacLean scores overtime winner as Oshawa earns 2-1 victory over Guelph

GUELPH, Ont. - Brett MacLean's goal 3:23 into overtime propelled the Oshawa Generals to a 2-1 win over the Guelph Storm on Friday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

MacLean made a winner out of netminder Jakub Kovar, who stopped 20 shots for the Generals (7-2-0-1). Dean Howard had the other goal while league scoring leader John Tavares added an assist in Oshawa's fourth straight win.

Matt Kennedy scored the lone goal for the Storm (4-4-2-0) while Thomas McCollum made 23 saves in defeat.
