MacLean and Nagy help Generals beat IceDogs for 3-1 series lead @NHLdotcom

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Brett MacLean and Kory Nagy scored two goals each as the Oshawa Generals took a 3-1 lead in their OHL quarter-final playoff series with a 6-4 win over the Niagara IceDogs Tuesday night.

Dale Mitchell and Patrick Asselin added a goal and assist.

Niagara captain Mike Swift, who was earlier named the league overage player of the year, had the hat-trick for the IceDogs and Luca Caputi added the other goal.

Oshawa outshot Niagara 48-38 and can end the series with a win at home Friday night.
