Machovsky makes 27 saves for Brampton Battalion in win over Peterborough Petes

BRAMPTON, Ont. - Brandon Robinson scored his first career Ontario Hockey League goal and Matej Machovsky stopped each of the 27 shots that he faced as the Brampton Battalion blanked the Peterborough Petes 4-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Brett Mackie, Andreas Tsogkas and Mitchell Porowski each scored to round out the scoring for the Battalion (7-3-2).

Mike Morrison turned aside 33 of the 37 shots that he faced in the loss.

The Petes (6-5-2) went 0-for-6 on the power play while the Battalion capitalized on one of four opportunities with the man advantage.

The win was Brampton?s second consecutive 4-0 victory after keeping the Frontenacs off the score sheet in Kingston on Friday night.
