Machovski makes 26 saves as the Battalion shut out the IceDogs 3-0 @NHLdotcom

BRAMPTON, Ont. - Matej Machovsky turned aside each of the 26 shots that he faced for his fourth shutout of the season as the Brampton Battalion skated to a 3-0 win over the Niagara IceDogs on Sunday afternoon in Ontario Hockey League action.

Philip Lane scored twice and rookie Brandon Robinson chipped in with a goal of his own for Brampton (15-10-4).

Christopher Festarini made 35 saves in the loss.

The Battalion scored twice on five opportunities with the man advantage while the IceDogs (15-11-3) went 0-for-5.

The win snapped a four-game losing streak for Brampton while Niagara had their four-game string of consecutive wins come to an end.
