Lyall scores winner as Sault Ste. Marie edges the Generals 3-2 @NHLdotcom

SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. - Matthew Lyall scored his 20th goal of the season six minutes into the third period to give Sault Ste. Marie a 3-1 lead as the Greyhounds held off the Oshawa Generals 3-2 on Saturday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

James Livingston and Brendan Childerley also scored for Sault Ste. Marie (19-40-2-2).

Alexander Denezhkin and Robert Kousal replied for the Generals (24-32-2-4).

Cody St. Jacques made 26 saves for the Greyhounds, while Oshawa netminder Michael Zador stopped 33 shots.
