SUDBURY, Ont. - Patrik Lusnak scored three goals and added an assist as the Sudbury Wolves jumped out to a 4-0 first-period lead and went on to defeat the Sarnia Sting 6-3 in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday afternoon.
Lusnak scored his first two goals in the first five minutes of the game and added another in the third period. John McFarland scored twice and Jake Cardwell added a single marker for Sarnia (10-9-1-1), who snapped a four-game losing skid. Eric O'Dell had three assists.
Justin DiBenedetto, Steve Ferry and Matt Martin replied for the Sting (10-10-1-1).
Andrew Loverock made 38 saves for the win, while Sarnia netminding duty was split between Shayne Campbell, who allowed three goals on four shots in the first 10 minutes and 40 seconds, and Dan Spence, who stopped 22 shots.
