Lundqvist is perfect pie-stopper on 'Tonight Show' @NHLdotcom

New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist's puck-stopping ability has helped him win a Vezina Trophy, an Olympic gold medal and play in three NHL All-Star Games.

So how hard could it for him to stop miniature pumpkin pies?

"Piece of cake," Lundqvist said during an appearance Wednesday on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" on NBC.

Fallon had 10 seconds to try to shoot as many pies as he could past Lundqvist. The Rangers goaltender, who has a .949 save percentage in 12 NHL games, had a shutout against Fallon. And they weren't all easy saves; Lundqvist had to stretch to make a low glove save on the first pie, then react quickly to make a head-high blocker save on the second shot.

Lundqvist and the Rangers will be on NBC again in the Thanksgiving Showdown game Nov. 27 against the Boston Bruins at 1 p.m.
