Lowry and Eakin both score twice as Swift Current rolls to 4-1 win over Tigers @NHLdotcom

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Adam Lowry and Cody Eakin both scored twice to lift the Swift Current Broncos to a 4-1 win over the visiting Medicine Hat Tigers in Western Hockey League action Saturday night.

Morgan Clark stopped 23 shots for Swift Current (29-27-4).

Zdenek Okal collected his ninth of the season to count the lone goal for Medicine Hat (33-20-8). Deven Dubykmade 21 saves.

The Broncos scored three unanswered goals in the final frame to break open a game tied 1-1 through two periods.

Lowry scored goals 5:09 apart in the third period while notching his first career game-winning goal. The rookie now has 14 goals on the season.

Eakin reached the 41-goal plateau and now leads the WHL in goals after his ninth multiple goal game of the season.

The win allows Swift Current to vault one point ahead of the Prince Albert Raiders for eighth spot in the Eastern Conference.

Medicine Hat remains fifth in the Eastern Conference standings.
