GAME: Los Angeles Kings (26-19-16-7) at Phoenix Coyotes (20-28-16-5).

TIME: Wednesday, 9 p.m. EST.

The Los Angeles Kings will look to stay in playoff contention and extend the Phoenix Coyotes' winless streak to 10 games when the teams wrap up their home-and-home series in Phoenix.

Luc Robitaille scored the game-winner _ the 650th goal of his career _ at 16:50 of the third period as the Kings beat the Coyotes 3-2 on Tuesday.

Derek Armstrong and Alexander Frolov also scored for the Kings, who won for the first time in four games (1-2-1) to remain tied with St. Louis for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Anson Carter, who came over in a trade from Washington on Monday, made his debut for Los Angeles. Carter, who also played for the New York Rangers this season, has struggled somewhat this season, posting just 15 goals and 12 assists.

Defenseman Aaron Miller played in his first game since Dec. 10 after missing 39 with a pinched nerve in his neck.

The Coyotes have not won since beating Columbus 3-2 on Feb 20. They are 0-6-2-2 during their winless streak.

Goalie Brent Johnson, who was acquired from St. Louis on Thursday, made his second straight start for Phoenix and finished with 34 saves. Johnson, who went 4-3-1 with a 2.43 goals-against average in 10 games with St. Louis this season, has given up a total of four goals so far with Phoenix.

Phoenix winger Tyson Nash missed his second straight game with bruised ribs.

STANDINGS: Kings - 75 points, 3rd place, 8 PB, Pacific Division. Coyotes - 61 points, 5th place, 22 PB, Pacific Division.
