The Vegas Golden Knights lost their first home game when Brooks Laich scored 12 seconds into overtime to give the Los Angeles Kings a 3-2 win at T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday.

Cody Eakin scored the first home goal in Golden Knights history to give Vegas a 1-0 lead at 3:44 of the first period. Nic Dowd tied it 1-1 at 11:54.
Kurtis MacDermid gave the Kings a 2-1 lead 8:56 into the second period before William Carrier tied it 2-2 at 3:50 of the third.
Jack Campbell made 27 saves for the Kings, and Pickard had 24.
