San Jose eyes third straight win; Quick looks to continue hot streak for Los Angeles

The Game

The San Jose Sharks will try to win their third straight game when they play the Los Angeles Kings at SAP Center on Monday.

The Sharks are 9-2-2 in their past 13 games and have scored at least five goals in four straight. They ended the Tampa Bay Lightning's season-long 16-game point streak with a 5-2 victory in San Jose on Saturday.

Kings goalie Jonathan Quick is coming off a 16-save shutout in a 4-0 victory against the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday for his 300th NHL win. He's 5-2-0 with a 2.13 goals-against average and .921 save percentage in his past seven starts.

Los Angeles is 2-3-0 in its past five games after a four-game winning streak.

Kings defenseman Drew Doughty has four points (two goals, two assists) in his past four games.

Sharks defenseman Brent Burns has 12 points (three goals, nine assists) in a five-game point streak.
